These downloadable multimedia files are authored differently to the original CD-ROM entitled "Cultural Competency and Case Management: Training Package. This is becasuse the CD-ROM files are rather large and make it quite difficult to access over the internet, especially dial-up.

For this reason Adobe PDF files now replace the large Powerpoint Slideshows [namely Module 1] but function much the same albeit minus a few animations. You can enter a Full screen mode within Adobe Reader (under the view menu) and advance each "slide" simply by clicking anywhere on the screen. This is exactly the same as Powerpoint, but at a fraction of the file size.

For module 1 [M1_PPT_PDF_OPTION2] the Quicktime video file is imbedded in the PDF towards the end of the slideshow.
This Quicktime video can be played within the PDF file simply by clicking on the video image. Click to pause, double click to resume playback.

For all other modules, the content is in Powerpoint slideshow format as before, exept that the associated Quicktime video files are now downloaded separately via a hyperlink within the Powerpoint slideshow or directly from this page.

It is strongly recommended that you download all required files first and test them locally, especially if you are using these files in a training program. To download the files directly you may right click on either the file link or file icon and choose "Save Target As" and download the files direclty to your computer.
